Juneau - Mid-February Update
It has definitely been longer than anticipated since my last post. I guess that tends to happen when one gets sick for a week followed by a busy week at work.
Work continues to go very well, and I am loving every day. Some days feel longer than others; however, that is just the nature of work. APFC hosted an open house last week and people were excited to be able to come and take a look “behind the curtain”. It was really neat to interact with people and explain different parts of the organization and answer the questions that were asked.
I haven’t gotten much of a chance to get out and do much exploring as the weather is definitely different here. For the last week, it has been in the mid to upper 30s so the snow has been melting quite a lot, I actually saw some grass driving home from work today (only a slight exaggeration)! The weatherman is predicting a cool down over the weekend. By next week, the highs will return to the 20s, so I’ll be back to riding my polar bear to work :P.
I am compiling more photos from around Juneau and my everyday life and will share soon. I hope everyone is doing well, and please let me know if you have any specific prayer requests.
Glad you are feeling better. Missed your blog. We are enjoying a little nice weather. Next week we are supposed to be in the lower 70’s. Praying for you. God’s blessings.
