Life in Juneau - Through the end of 2023
Well, here we are at the start of a brand new year! I can hardly believe it’s 2024 already. First, I’d like to give a big thank you to everyone for all their kind thoughts and wishes in all my adventures in 2023. It was quite the year and I don’t think anyone (save the Lord) knew how the year was going to go and all the adventures that it held.
I will quickly recap the last couple of weeks here in Juneau to catch up to the new year. It is my plan to do weekly posts and believe as I am able to explore more and learn more about the area, I will have more to share.
There was nothing extremely notable that happened between the board meetings and now at work. I have continued to expand my knowledge, get settled in at my job and loving it every day. Juneau, unfortunately, did not have a white Christmas; however, we have had several days with snow on the ground. There have also been some rainy and sunny days as well, so it’s been nice to have a variety in the weather.
With all the Holiday festivities I did not get much of a chance to go exploring. I did go and enjoy a nice hike out at the glacier on New Year’s Eve.
I would like to end this post with a thank you for all your support in 2023 and by wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy 2024 . I don’t know what this year will bring for everyone, but I pray that you will be blessed and the Lord will provide all your needs. Remember: happiness comes from happenings, but joy comes from the Lord!
Happy NewYear! I am sure your adventures will continue to inspire you.
